Greetings, fellow MSA Warriors. I’m excited to share the latest chapter in my journey with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and CVAC (Cyclic Variations in Adaptive Conditioning) therapy. Since my diagnosis, life has been a series of challenges and small victories, each step forward bringing a glimmer of hope. As many of you know, MSA is a relentless condition, but I’m committed to finding ways to improve my quality of life.
Today marks a new phase in my treatment: the integration of bio-modulation with CVAC therapy. Over the past 60 days, CVAC therapy has been a pleasant surprise for me, particularly in addressing the frequent episodes of orthostatic hypotension I was experiencing. I used to face these episodes two or three times a week, often resulting in blackouts. Remarkably, I haven’t had a single episode since starting CVAC therapy.
For those unfamiliar with CVAC, it involves sitting in a pod where the air pressure is rapidly changed, simulating the effects of altitude variation. This process is believed to help improve circulation and reduce inflammation. The addition of bio-modulation, which uses light and sound to stimulate cellular repair and reduce inflammation, is a promising development that I was eager to explore.
To document my progress, I’ve decided to record a video of myself walking down the hallway both, on July 1st, and again on July 15th. This will provide a visual comparison to assess any changes in my stability and strength.
July 1st 2024 to July 15th, 2024
It’s been two weeks since I started incorporating bio-modulation with my CVAC therapy, and I’m thrilled to share some positive updates. I feel stronger and more stable on my feet, and these improvements are not just subjective feelings—they’re evident in the video comparisons I’ve recorded.
Watching the footage side by side, you can see a difference in my gait and posture. On July 1st, my steps were tentative, and I had to concentrate hard to maintain my balance. Today, on July 15th, my stride is more confident, and I feel a renewed sense of stability. While I’m cautious not to make any medical claims, the combined therapy seems to be making a difference.
The most profound change has been in my overall energy levels and mood. The bio-modulation sessions have been incredibly soothing. I believe they complement the physical benefits of CVAC.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to announce that starting August 1st, I’ll be adding Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation (BEMER) therapy to my regimen. This non-invasive treatment aims to improve microcirculation and boost the body’s natural healing processes. I’m hopeful that BEMER will build on the progress I’ve made so far and bring additional benefits.
To my fellow MSA sufferers, I want to share a message of hope and resilience. While we may face daunting challenges, there are innovative therapies out there that can make a difference. It’s important to stay informed, explore new options, and most importantly, never give up. Each small victory, whether it’s a steadier step or a day without dizziness, is a step towards a better quality of life.
Thank you for following my journey. I’ll continue to share my experiences and insights as I navigate this path. Together, we can find strength and inspiration in our collective journey.
Stay strong,
~Coach~
